Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Journeyperson Welder will provide welding expertise on a variety of industrial and mechanical projects throughout the Lower Mainland, including repairs, modifications, maintenance, and installations.
Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Journeyperson Welder who is mechanically inclined and enjoys taking on more than just welding. You bring strong welding skills and a commitment to quality and safety, with stainless steel TIG welding experience considered an asset. Fabrication and millwright experience is also an asset, as projects may require you to support mechanical installations, repairs, and fabrication work. You’re comfortable working in the field, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of hands-on tasks as projects evolve. You bring strong communication and customer service skills, sound judgment, and a team-oriented approach to representing a skilled trades company.
