Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced underground heavy-duty technician for our Underground Hard Rock Mining business. The role involves supporting customer sites, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, with up to 35% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts at customer locations
• Contribute to a strong safety culture

Qualifications

• 421A or Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification; Red Seal preferred
• Experience in underground field service environments
• Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read drawings and interpret technical documents
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
