Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Calgary, AB seeks Structural Steel Fitters for full-time roles in our steel fabrication shop. The afternoon shift offers opportunities to interpret drawings, lay out components, and operate torches, grinders, drills, and punches to exact specifications.

You will fit, torch cut, assemble, and install fabricated parts to final stage while maintaining safe, organized work areas. Overtime and paid training are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years commercial/industrial experience.
• Welding courses and Red Seal certification are assets.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and plan material selection and cutting sequences.
• Prepare, lay out, and detail heavy metal components to specification.
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment, including torches, grinders, drills, and punches.
• Fit, torch cut, assemble, and install fabricated components to final stage.
• Safely rig and move materials while maintaining organized, compliant work areas.

Role Summary:

We are currently hiring Structural Steel Fitters for full-time positions in our steel fabrication shop in Calgary.
