Job summary

Kristian Electric is seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our Edmonton fabrication shop. You will perform welding, fitting, cutting, and assembly of overhead crane components, working from engineered drawings and welding symbols to ensure safety and quality.

This role requires 2–3 years as a Journeyman Welder, FCAW/MCAW experience, and the ability to read drawings. We offer competitive wages, health benefits, and opportunities for growth in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Certified journeyman welder with 2–3 years minimum experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience with FCAW, MCAW and SMAW in all positions.
• Experience with overhead cranes is an asset; safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fitting, cutting, and assembly of overhead crane components.
• Interpret welding symbols and engineered drawings accurately.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and quality control.
• Support inspection processes where applicable.
• Work collaboratively with shop and field teams to meet project timelines.
