Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac Family, is hiring a full-time mechanic in Canada. You will perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and reliability across fleets.

The role requires hands-on experience with tires, brakes, air systems, and electrical components, plus adherence to safety procedures and PPE. Red Seal and CVIP are assets, and two years of verifiable experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.

Pay Details

• Up to $46.27 per hour

Additional Perks

• Tool allowance after 1 year of service - $500
• Boot allowance after 1 year of service (negotiable)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Overtime available
