Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac Family of Companies, seeks a licensed 310T mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, including tires, brakes, air systems, electrical work and pump rebuilds.

You will work full-time on a 40-hour week with shifts 2:00 pm–10:30 pm or 6:00 am–2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for overtime and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Licensed 310T required, Red Seal asset.
• CVIP Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system and brakes.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Follow procedures.

Pay Details

• $35.00/hour - $37.00/hour

Additional Perks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.

• Able to work on trucks

• Operation of hand and air tools.
