Job summary

LMS Reinforcing Steel Group is hiring for a reinforcing steel installer to operate across various locations in Canada. The role involves installing reinforcing steel, reading blueprints, and coordinating with crane operators in outdoor, on-site environments.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of relevant experience, are willing to travel frequently, and can work in a fast-paced outdoor setting across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years experience in reinforcing steel installation.
• Frequent travel is required from the employee.
• On the road; work locations may vary.

Responsibilities

• Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
• Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
• Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
