Forbes Bros. Group of Companies in Ontario seeks a Journeyman Powerline Technician to support construction and maintenance of high- and low-voltage lines.

You’ll build, troubleshoot, and repair distribution systems while upholding our WE WORK SAFE safety standard. This on-site, project-based role includes 21 days on / 7 off (or 6/1), frequent overtime, and travel to Ontario project sites with a $200 per day LOA when away from home.

Formación

• Red Seal certification in the powerline trade.
• Experience as a Journeyman Powerline Technician in distribution or transmission.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license; Class 1A preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and hazard control.
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair distribution lines and components.
• Construct and upgrade distribution powerlines including framing structures.
• String conductors and pull cables; operate related equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, permits, and participate in safety meetings.
• Complete work per drawings and client requirements; report non-conformances.
• Assist in training apprentices and developing crew skills.
