Job summary

Carmichael Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Journeyman Plumber in Calgary, AB. We welcome 3rd-year apprentices or higher for consideration.

The role involves installing and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial sites, with on-call rotation and a strong emphasis on safety. Applicants should have a Journeyman Plumbing certification (3rd year or higher) and be able to work in tight spaces. A clean driving record is required; boiler experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3rd year Journeyman Plumbing certification.
• Must be able to work in tight spaces.
• Clean driving record, and drivers abstract.
• Service experience would be an asset.
• Work with Health and Safety team to promote safe work practices.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment.
• Boiler experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install piping, fittings, tanks and valves in water and hot water systems.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, heating, ventilation, gas, fire protection, and site drainage.
• Work with on-call rotation as the on-call technician.
