Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a New Construction Residential Plumber (3rd year to Journeyperson) to handle complex residential plumbing across developments in Calgary.

The role offers steady full-time work, a company vehicle and tool account, and a schedule from Monday to Friday with fleksibility. The ideal candidate will have 3rd/4th year apprenticeship or Journeyperson certification, experience with rough-ins and groundworks, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3rd year apprentice, 4th year apprentice, or Journeyperson certification.
• Experience with rough-ins and groundworks on new residential builds.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Complete groundworks, including trenching, laying underground piping, and installing sewer and water service lines.
• Rough in plumbing for new homes.
• Work from blueprints, site plans and building codes so every system goes in correctly.
• Install and secure pipe, fittings and fixtures to project specs and plumbing code.
• Test systems for leaks and proper function before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems that come up during groundworks and rough-in.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized worksite.

The Role
Our Production Housing division is one of the busiest parts of our company, and we're hiring a full-time New Construction Residential Plumber. We handle complex residential plumbing across entire developments and keep every phase on schedule and on budget. If you want steady work and a chance to show what you can do, this role is for you.

What You Get

• Pay: $30–$40/hour based on skill level and experience. Piecework opportunities are also available!

• Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility in your schedule
