All trades report to the project’s Field Supervisor. Supervisors may change as you move between projects.

Our projects are across Canada, often in remote regions. Your squad size varies from solo to about 12 people, comprising a mix of trades based on project needs. All Ryfan team members are expected to assist colleagues, especially in remote locations, where minimal staffing is standard. "Not in my job description" does not apply at Ryfan.

Developing your trade is an entrepreneurial journey. Some apprentices and journeymen will pursue their own businesses or other opportunities, but all will develop leadership skills and a broad understanding of business operations.

Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent; ability to travel within Canada, including by air; registration or eligibility for registration as an apprentice or Journeyman with a recognized Canadian trade board, preferably with Red Seal certification.

This hourly position offers competitive pay and project-specific allowances, with eligibility for benefits through Open Circle. Travel to remote sites may require a personal credit card for urgent expenses.
