Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is seeking skilled Construction Millwright Journeypersons for the BHP Wet Mill project. You will be integral to maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring safety and quality on site in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Journeyperson Ticket or Inter-Provincial Red Seal.
• CSTS-20 Certification.
• Fall Protection – In Class.
• Mobile Elevated Work Platform – In Class.
• Confined Space – In Class.
• Experience as a Millwright in an industrial construction environment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 25 kg.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate rig equipment and dollies to move heavy machinery and parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to tolerance.
• Align and test equipment and adjust as needed.
• Perform preventive and operational maintenance; diagnose issues and replace parts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC controls.
• Tack welding and fabrication; maintain inventory of replacement parts.
• Document work thoroughly and provide clear follow-up notes.
• Provide mentorship to apprentices and ensure safety compliance.
