Job summary

Phoenix Industrial is hiring Ironworkers for an upcoming project at the Nisku Mod yard. Read blueprints, unload/stack steel, assemble rigging and erect prefabricated metal structures while maintaining safety for the crew and site.

This safety-sensitive role requires pre-employment testing and certifications such as Alberta Ironworker Journeyman or Red Seal, CSTS-20/WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform. We offer competitive wages and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Alberta Ironworker journeyman or Red Seal certification is required.
• CSTS-20 / WHMIS 2015 certification is required.
• Fall protection certification is required.
• Aerial Work Platform certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Unload and stack steel.
• Assemble rigging such as cablers, pulleys and hooks.
• Install scaffolding as required.
• Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures.
• Ensure safety of crew, equipment and environment.
