Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician with overhead crane experience for a FIFO 14/14 rotation in Fort McMurray, AB. You will perform maintenance, installations, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical systems onsite, coordinating with a team to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a Journeyperson Electrician ticket, 5+ years of experience, and flexibility for rotational shifts with accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket is required.
• Five+ years as a journeyperson with commercial electrical experience.
• Overhead crane experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and planned inspections of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues to complete work safely and on schedule.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot to restore service.
• Respond to maintenance notifications and emergency requests in a timely manner.
