Job summary

Flyer Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our Prince Albert team on diverse commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial settings and hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate for the Construction Electrician trade.

This full-time role offers 4–5 days per week, 8–10 hour shifts, competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician.
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician in industrial or commercial settings.
• Saskatchewan Electrical License or eligible to obtain one.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relations with site personnel and customers.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, and project quality.
• Oversee field activities and supervise apprentices.
• Train and mentor apprentices in electrical installations and safety.
• Lead by example and maintain professional image on site.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team on commercial projects in Prince Albert, SK. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience on commercial construction sites.

Shift: 4 - 5 days a week; 8-to-10-hour days

Wage: $43/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers
• Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual
• Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures
• Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the efficient use of materials and equipment, and for overseeing the performance of all field‑related activities for each task/project.
• Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications, project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements
• Complete and maintain appropriate documentation including all required safety documentation and daily progress reports (LEM’s)
• Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training
• Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship
• Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed
• Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations
• Lead others by example
• Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician trade
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician
• Saskatchewan Electrical License
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
