PTW Energy Services, a leading electrical and instrumentation contractor, seeks a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various industrial construction projects in Canada. You will install electrical systems, interpret drawings, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate; Red Seal preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A/C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's licence; flexible for shift work, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $50.50, commensurate with experience and certification
• Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
