Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of installations.
• Repair and maintain low voltage systems (under 120V).
• Assist with site commissioning, point-to-point verifications, troubleshooting.
• Handle and be familiar with all testing and electrical repair tools and equipment appropriately.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision, following Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all job functions safely, complying with all applicable health, safety, environmental policies, and regulations.
• Follow the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and product documentation.
• Ability to perform medium physical duties, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Good knowledge of the electrical trade and the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire.
