Description :

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Journeyman Electrician with frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of electrical systems.

Rotation :

• Hour shifts
• Days “on” and days “off” (subject to change based on operational requirements)

Responsibilities :

• Complete timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects/ deficiencies
• Conduct timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment
• Provide input to the Maintenance Supervisor for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
• Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning, and execution of new work or projects
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Journeyman Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of [X] years’ experience.
• Class license and clean drivers abstract is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to read drawings and schematics
• Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
