Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB. The Journeyman Electrician will oversee the maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of electrical systems across our construction projects.

The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Uniforms and PPE are supplied.

Responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction projects.
2. Install conduits and wiring through walls, floors, and ceilings.
3. Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures.
4. Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.
5. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Training and mentoring apprentice electricians.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Strong commercial experience in construction.
2. Class 5 license and a clean drivers abstract are required.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Able to read drawings and schematics.
5. Ability to build and work in a team environment, along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
6. Willing to travel.
