Job summary

PTW Energy Services is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on industrial construction projects near Anzac, AB. You will install electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure safety and code compliance on site.

The position requires a Red Seal or Journeyman certification with 2+ years of experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to work in varying environments. Camps are provided and travel from Calgary/Nisku is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
• Minimum of 2years of experience in industrial construction electrical work

• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
• Valid driver's licence
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
