Job description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for our Bonnyville branch. Candidates should have strong electrical industrial maintenance experience within the Oil & Gas sector. This role involves both maintenance and construction projects in the Bonnyville area, with shifts varying by project.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil & gas maintenance projects across Western Canada. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with reputable clients.

Requirements

1. Electrical Journeyman certificate OR 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
2. Experience with heat trace, troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance
3. Previous experience in Industrial Oil & Gas facilities
4. Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid - Level A or C with CPR/AED, CSTS 2020 certificates
5. Flexible work schedule, including shift work, overtime, and weekends
6. Valid Class 5 driver’s license
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Residence in or willingness to relocate permanently to the Bonnyville area
