Job summary

Convergint in Fort McMurray, at the Suncor Firebag Site, is seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter for a rotating 14/14 shift. You will respond to service requests, perform routine maintenance and inspections, and coordinate with contractors under the Lead and on-site Client Supervisor.

You must have five years of commercial/industrial carpentry experience and a Journeyman/Journeywoman certification. Travel to jobsites and a valid driver’s license are required; SAP and MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of commercial or industrial carpentry experience.
• Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter certification is required.
• Must have finish carpentry experience.
• Travel to jobsites and a valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with coordinating with contractors and service requests is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests from building occupants and on-site teams.
• Complete routine maintenance and inspections of carpentry shop equipment, tools, and systems.
• Complete work orders and routine maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on projects and ensure timely completion.
• Communicate with team members to improve operations at the client site.
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to company policies.
