Job summary

Gateway Toyota in Edmonton is seeking an Alignment Technician to perform 4 wheel alignments and diagnose malfunctions, ensuring vehicle safety and recommending further service when needed.

You will communicate results to Service Advisors, conduct road tests, and complete safety inspections with a collaborative team. This role is ideal for a student in the 3rd or 4th year of Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship who holds the College of Trades agreement and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Currently in 3rd or 4th year of Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship.
• Holds an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Agreement with the College of Trades.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work in a team and possess an upbeat and engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform 4 Wheel Alignments
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
• Perform road test and safety inspections.
