Autism Services seeks a Journeyman Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Ideal candidate has a valid Journeyman Refrigeration certification and experience with various commercial and/or residential systems, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician certification.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems and controls.
• Experience with commercial and/or residential systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftops, and A/C).
• Diagnose system issues and determine effective repair solutions.
• Perform system checks, pressure tests, and leak detection; handle refrigerant charging and recoveries in accordance with regulations.
• Install and service compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide professional customer service and clearly explain repairs to clients.
• Follow all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
