Responsibilities

• Participate in tenant intakes, support services, and assessments
• Identify challenges, develop service plans, and assist with crisis intervention, finances, and medication management
• Meet basic needs through ongoing support
• Complete paperwork and maintain data records
• Assist volunteers and practicum students; some external work may be required
• Contribute to health and safety programs

Qualifications & Skills

• Related diploma/certificate or a minimum of Grade 12 plus two years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of community resources, addiction, mental health, and harm reduction
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
• Crisis Intervention training is an asset
• Class 4 driver’s license is an asset
• Ability to work independently and in teams, manage stress, and organize workload
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties
• Minimum two years of sobriety if applicable
• Criminal Record Clearance for the Vulnerable Sector
