Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced JDE Developer to design and develop applications on JDE 9.2 within the ERP Development team.

You will analyze, code, debug, and support the global JDE Production and Non‑Production environments, collaborating with analysts, IT leadership, and end users to meet key business requirements. Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a JDE Developer
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle JDE Development Tools up to version 9.2
• Experience with JDE Tools to customize applications based on business needs
• Knowledge of Orchestrations, Transformations, Upgrades and Retrofitting
• Bachelor’s degree in IS/IT/CS/Engineering
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Open/partnering attitude to deliver best solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize JDE Enterprise One objects (RDA, FDA, TDA, C, BI Publisher) and UDOs.
• Troubleshoot incidents and provide remediation steps for the global JDE instance.
• Support Global JDE and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and documentation.
• Develop standards and best practices; perform code reviews.
• Lead/participate in technical projects: Digital Transformation, Integrations, Automation/Optimization, and more.
• Manage project planning, estimation, scope, and stakeholder communications.

Job Description

As a member of the IKO ERP Development team, the JDE Developer will be designing and developing applications on JDE 9.2. The job involved analysis, coding, debugging, and supporting the global instance of JDE Production and Non-Production environments. This position requires a strong understanding of the project lifecycle and software development lifecycle. The JDE Developer will be working directly with the teams from other technologies, Business Analysts, End Users, IT project leadership team to ensure the agreed timelines and the key business requirements are met and delivered.

Compensation: $96,000 - $113,000 CAD

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

• Developing/customizing JDE Enterprise One objects based on the legacy toolset (RDA, FDA, TDA, TC, C, BI Publisher) as well as the latest development technology (UDOs, Orchestration Studio).
• Troubleshooting issues and incidents, providing action plans and remediation steps
• Support Global JDE instance and work on multiple projects
• Understand business requirements and be able to relate these to the supporting system requirements producing technical specifications and documentation

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

• 5+ years’ experience as a JDE Developer
• Significant hands‑on experience with Oracle JDE Development Tools upto version 9.2
• Oracle JDE Tools, Business Function Development (NER and C), Form Design Aid (FDA), Reports Design Aid (RDA), Table Design Aid (TDA), UDO's, and related JDE development process and methodologies.
• Experience using JDE development tools (TDA,FDA,RDA,NER) to customize applications based on business needs.
• Experience with Orchestrations, Transformation, Upgrade and Retrofitting
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Have an open/partnering mentality and comfortable challenging ideas with the goal to deliver the best solution
• Curious and actively inquisitive about the outside world and learning about new ideas for improvement
• Oracle JDE Certifications
