Carbonsoft in Canada is seeking a senior Java backend developer with 10-12 years of hands-on experience to design and build scalable systems. You will work on Spring-based microservices, implement RESTful APIs, and optimize complex SQL queries across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.

The role requires deep knowledge of data modeling (normalized and denormalized schemas), API security, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

Formación

• 10-12 years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Very strong SQL skills including stored procedures and PL/SQL.
• Advanced SQL optimization and execution plan analysis.
• Design/implement RESTful APIs in Java and model data for normalized/denormalized schemas.
• Experience with relational DBs: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of API security and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Nice-to-have: Kafka/SQS/SNS, React/Angular, Agile/Scrum.

• 10-12 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE development
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
• Very Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in stored procedures
• Conduct advanced PL/SQL development, including packages and procedures
• Optimize SQL queries and analyze execution plans
• Design and implement RESTful APIs in Java
• Handle data modeling for both normalized and denormalized schemas
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API security
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills

Nice to Have

• AWS Certification (Developer / Solutions Architect)
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, SNS)
