Job summary

LTM Canada is seeking an experienced Java developer for a senior apps development role in Mississauga. The position emphasizes hands-on coding, microservices, and full-stack Java expertise to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work with REST/JMS/SOAP, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges and drive transformation at scale.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
• Experience with REST JMS SOAP Microservices Core Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot Swagger Tomcat and JSON and XML processing.
• Very hands on role and associate should be able to write code on daily basis.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems and able to write shell batch programs.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of Threading Collections Exception Handling JDBC Java OODOOP Concepts GoF Design Patterns File IO.
• Able to work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools.
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert SME in areas of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Mandatory Certification Karat Assessment
