Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Janitor for a remote lodge near Geraldton, Ontario. The role requires strong custodial experience and familiarity with remote camp work. You will clean and maintain assigned areas to meet client standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

Rotation is 2 weeks on site and 2 weeks off site. Comprehensive benefit packages are offered, with transportation provided from Thunder Bay, ON and travel allowances for some areas.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures around chemicals and hazards.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient guest service demeanor toward guests, clients and co-workers.
• Adaptable to guests' needs and shifting workloads.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with OSHA, local and Aramark regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility and ensures doors/windows are locked as required.
• Protects company assets.

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Janitor for a remote lodge near Geraldton, ON. Strong janitorial experience and a familiarity with remote camp work is required, familiarity with custodial work.
