Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services, in partnership with Moose Cree group of companies, is hiring Housekeepers for a remote lodge near Timmins, ON. Responsible for cleaning at the highest standard, with potential for daily room cleaning.

Previous professional residential and commercial cleaning experience is preferred. Offers comprehensive benefit packages, transportation from Timmins or Cochrane, travel allowances for distant areas, and a 14 days on/14 days off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Maintains all assigned areas and corridors in a clean, sanitary manner in compliance with department policy.
• Inspects and selects cleaning techniques per orientation guidelines.
• Demonstrates safe and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies as needed.
• Disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following universal precautions.
• Keeps cart stocked with equipment and chemicals; ensures labels and equipment are in good condition.
• Promotes professional relationships and maintains conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and departmental operations.
• Supports training commitments for ongoing professional growth.

Housekeepers are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest-level of cleaning. Housekeepers could be cleaning rooms daily. Successful candidates will have professional residential and commercial cleaning experience.

• Travel allowance is available for some areas that are further away.
• Rotation are 14 days on/ 14 days off.

As a professional Housekeeper on our team, you’ll take pride in cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of our locations to help keep our guests happy and healthy. Integrity and attention to detail are also two must-have tools that you keep in your cleaning case.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
• Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
