SHW AG in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Part Time Janitor to maintain cleanliness across the facility. You will sweep, vacuum, mop, sanitize washrooms, restock supplies, and assist with basic maintenance as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in working with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English for effective communication.
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines.
• Good physical health to meet the job requirements.
• Good time management skills and attention to detail.
• Prior janitorial experience in an office setting preferred.
• Skilled craftsman.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and carpets throughout the facility.
• Sanitize, clean, and restock washrooms regularly.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and light fixtures as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, including appliances, tables, and surfaces.
• Ensure overall cleanliness and orderly appearance of the establishment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to support daily operations.
• Complete minor handyman and basic maintenance tasks to keep the building in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues, supply needs, or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or their designate.

Salary Range:

$18.00 / hour at 20 hours per week
