Job summary

SHW AG in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Part Time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.

You will sweep, mop, sanitize washrooms, empty bins, clean windows, restock supplies, and perform light maintenance. Strong English communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in working with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Good reading, writing and speaking in English for effective communication.
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines.
• Requires good physical health to meet job demands.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Prior janitorial experience in an office setting is preferred.
• Skilled craftsman.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and carpets throughout the facility.
• Sanitize, clean, and restock washrooms on a regular basis.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and light fixtures as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, including appliances, tables, and surfaces.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderly appearance of the establishment.
• Perform general cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations.
• Complete minor handyman and basic maintenance tasks to keep the building in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues, supply needs, or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, manager, or their designate.
