Janitor Lead

Hourly Wage

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is C$25 per hour - C$28 per hour.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon-Fri.

Key Purpose

The Lead Cleaner oversees the daily cleaning tasks of cleaning/ janitorial team while keeping assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings, in a clean and orderly condition. You will work successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization. You are expected to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written; and explain how to complete a task using basic communication skills.

Success Criteria

• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and chemicals

Ideal Candidate Experience

• 2+ years of commercial janitorial
• Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures

• Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus
