Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a part-time Warehouse Cleaning Associate for our RSC location in Edmonton. Availability including weekends is required, with shifts from 12pm to 12:30 am, up to 32 hours per week. You will help maintain a clean, safe warehouse and support recycling preparation.

Candidates should be certified to operate mobile equipment, able to multitask, and comfortable with physical work and varying temperatures. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork with the Sobeys crew.

Qualifications

• Must be certified to operate mobile equipment.
• Familiar with cleaning solvents and materials.
• Able to manage time and multitask.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and long periods of standing.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of the warehouse, equipment, and surroundings in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Sweep, scrub floors, and empty garbage.
• Prepare and bale corrugated cardboard and plastic pallet wrap for recycling.”
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company safety standards.
• Maintain MSDS catalogues as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements.
• Operate Power jack as needed.
• All other duties as required.

Available Shift:Open Availability including weekends, between 12pm and 12:30 am (Part Time - up to 32hours/week)

• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of the warehouse, equipment, and surrounding properties in accordance with HACCP standards


• Sweeping, scrubbing floors, and emptying garbage


• Prepare and bale corrugated cardboard and plastic pallet wrap for recycling return


• Adhere and implement all applicable company safety standards


• Maintain MSDS Catalogues as required


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements


• Operate Power jack as needed
