Job summary

Aversan Inc. is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to design, execute, and document IVVQ activities for complex safety-critical electronics and software systems.

The role involves updating test scripts, planning events, and coordinating with the Interview/Test Team. Hybrid work arrangement in Dartmouth, with potential ship visits and access to required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with physical systems (mechanical, electrical, and/or pressurized fluids).
• At least 3 years IV&V or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test events.
• Work with the Interview/Test Team to verify and validate the product.
• Review requirements and contribute to traceability matrices.
• Record test results and report on test activities, including defect analysis.
• Raise problem reports and track them to resolution.
• Provide Test Report (TR), Reliability, CGP, or Trial.
• Deploy methodologies, including metrics and tools/platforms for testing.
• Experience writing test plans and test procedures.
