Job summary

Thales Canada Inc., Defence and Security in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking an IVVQ Sub-Discipline Manager who guides integration, verification, and qualification across bids and projects. You will mentor engineers, optimize processes, and champion discipline excellence within a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements include an engineering degree or equivalent, 6+ years IVVQ experience, 2+ years leading IVVQ teams, and eligibility to obtain security clearances.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years IVVQ experience in last 10 years.
• 2+ years leading IVVQ team in last 10 years.
• Expertise in at least one IVVQ tool.
• Expertise in at least one IVVQ standard.
• Expertise in Requirements Management or sell-off.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources to deliver bids, projects and products.
• Plan team workload short/medium/long term.
• Develop team skills for bids, projects and products.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management for the team.
• Coach, mentor and develop the IVVQ team.
• Lead the team to meet productivity, quality, and objectives.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence (timesheets, time off, travel).
• Be accountable to IVVQ Manager/HOD and the company.
