An IT Technician in our industrial plant isresponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the plant's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.This role ensures the plant's IT systems operate efficiently and securely to support production processes.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, servers, and network equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues.
Maintaining and upgrading software and hardware components.
Network Management:
Building and maintaining local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
Configuring routers, switches, and other network devices.
Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues.
User Support and Technical Assistance:
Providing technical support to plant employees for hardware and software issues.
Training users on new software and hardware.
Answering technical questions and resolving problems.
Security and Compliance:
Ensuring the security of the plant's IT systems and data.
Implementing and maintaining security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus software.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Documentation and Inventory:
Maintaining accurate documentation of the plant's IT infrastructure.
Tracking hardware and software inventory.
Other Responsibilities:
May be involved in implementing new technologies or upgrading existing systems.
May assist with server backup and recovery operations.
May be required to work outside of normal business hours for emergencies.
