Job summary

Deveraux Group of Companies is seeking a hands-on IT Systems & Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support across offices and properties, while supporting Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and endpoint environments.

You will troubleshoot issues, assist with device management, security, identity, and data governance, and help implement modern Microsoft technologies to build a secure, scalable IT environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in IT support, systems support, or IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows desktop and endpoint troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
  • Experience supporting or implementing endpoint security, patching, and device hardening.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot or AI-enabled tools is an asset.
  • Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, wireless, switching).
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and device lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-site on-site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day desktop and laptop troubleshooting for Windows-based systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
  • Deliver in-person and remote support to corporate and property staff.
  • Escalate advanced issues and maintain incident documentation.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 users, licensing, permissions, and shared services.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes including identity, access, and device provisioning.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of wired and wireless networking issues.
  • Assist with CCTV, access control, and IoT systems where required.
  • Create SOPs and user guides for common IT processes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on IT Systems & Support Specialist to provide primarily on-site technical support across our offices and properties while supporting our Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and endpoint environments.

In this role, you'll troubleshoot technical issues, support end users, and help maintain device management, endpoint security, identity, and data governance. You'll also contribute to the implementation of modern Microsoft technologies, including security, governance, and AI-enabled tools, helping build a secure, scalable, and efficient IT environment.

What you bring...

You will...
DESKTOP SUPPORT & SERVICE DESK
  • Provide day-to-day desktop and laptop troubleshooting for Windows-based systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
  • Deliver exceptional in-person and remote support to corporate and property staff.
  • Escalate advanced issues where required and maintain clear documentation of incidents and resolutions.
MICROSOFT 365, AZURE & ENDPOINT MANAGEMENT
  • Administer Microsoft 365 users, licensing, permissions, and shared services.
  • Support Microsoft Teams administration and collaboration tools.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes including identity, access, and device provisioning.
NETWORKING & PROPERTY TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of wired and wireless networking issues.
  • Support wireless access points, switching, VLANs, and site connectivity.
  • Assist with CCTV, access control, and IoT systems where required.
  • Support property rollouts, upgrades, and new site deployments.
USER EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & SECURITY AWARENESS
  • Deliver a professional, patient, and service-oriented support experience.
  • Manage cybersecurity awareness and anti-phishing training programs.
  • Create SOPs and user guides for common processes.
DEVICE LIFECYCLE, ONBOARDING/OFFBOARDING & ASSET MANAGEMENT
  • Prepare, image, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Lead full onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure provisioning and recovery of assets.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset tracking and lifecycle records.
  • Assist with office setups, moves, and deployments.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
