The Desktop Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.

Your role within the team:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
  • Provide support to video conference room and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions and ensure tickets are closed within the Service Level Agreements (SLA) period.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and IT policies. This may include writing end user documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.

  • Eligibility to secure a LEVEL II – SECRET security clearance, demonstrating trustworthiness and responsibility.
  • May have to lift equipment weighing up to 30 kilos.
  • May have to work at other offices near the main office.
  • Occasional overtime work on evening and weekends.
