Responsibilities

  • Install, support, monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software.
  • Provide support for Gaming Management System peripherals.
  • Travel required between sites on short notice.

Job description

To be responsible for the Support & administration of desktop/laptop applications, systems for end users and peripherals for the corporate and Gaming environments. The incumbent will be required to collaborate with other team members and functional stakeholders to provide support and technology solutions of the Gaming Management System peripherals and corporate applications to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • PC Image Design, Build and Deploy Previous experience of ITIL methodologies
  • Installs, supports, monitors and troubleshoots hardware and software equipment and issues.
  • Ideally be able to demonstrate knowledge in two or more of the following:
    • Break & Fix
    • Use of tools/products to help maintain systems.
    • Microsoft Office Application Support
    • Remote and Deskside PC Support
    • Gaming Kiosks and peripheral devices
    • Gaming & Office Printers
    • Cash handling kiosks (CTR, AJM)
  • Travel is required and sometimes on short notice

What You Bring

  • A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software and technology implementation environment
  • 5 to 7 Years in an IT Support role, Casino experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Gaming and Entertainment Industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in user-friendly language
  • Reliable transportation for travel between sites
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking, user/group setup, LAN security setup
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Internetworking, routing and switching management
  • Working knowledge of PC and server hardware installations and repairs
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010
  • Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016 an asset
  • Knowledge of automated deployment
  • Knowledge of source control and release management tools
  • ITIL: 3 years
