Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide technical support across hardware, software, and network issues. The role requires an IT Technical Diploma, four years of experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

You will document issues, maintain asset records, support new technologies, and help with system analysis and upgrades while demonstrating leadership and teamwork throughout IT operations.

Qualifications

  • IT Technical Diploma and Microsoft certifications (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum two years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve and document customer IT issues through ticketing systems, email, phone, and in-person support.
  • Troubleshoot and support networking, computers, mobile devices, printers, and enterprise tools like Active Directory, SharePoint, and Terminal Services.
  • Maintain and update IT assets and documentation, including hardware/software inventories and Knowledge Base articles.
  • Contribute to process improvement by analyzing support metrics and optimizing IT support workflows.
  • Assist with system analysis and upgrades and stay current with hardware/software trends.

Job Description

As an IT Support Analyst, reporting to the IT Service Desk Lead within the Information Technology department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving hardware, software, and network issues through various communication channels. The role requires an IT Technical Diploma, a minimum of four years of experience, strong technical knowledge, good communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Key responsibilities include updating and documenting customer issues, maintaining IT hardware and software records, supporting new technologies, and assisting with system analysis and upgrades, while embodying core competencies such as leadership, competitiveness, collaboration, adaptability, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

What would you be doing?

Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise with up-to-date knowledge of emerging IT/IS trends and technologies.
  • Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant education and certifications, including an IT Technical Diploma and Microsoft certifications (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar IT support or technical role.
