Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, actuarial science, BI or related field.
• Two+ years of experience in data analysis or BI.
• SQL proficiency with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to explain complex data to non-technical partners.
• Autonomy, initiative and rigour in validation and documentation.
• Interest in technology and ability to learn new tools.
• Experience in insurance or financial services is an asset.
• Knowledge of Python or R is an asset.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics, actuarial science, business intelligence or another related field;
• Has at least two years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a similar role;
• Is proficient in SQL and a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau;
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and the ability to analyze complex data;
• Communicates technical concepts effectively to business partners with varied backgrounds;
• Demonstrates autonomy, initiative and rigour, particularly in validation and documentation;
• Has a strong interest in technology and the ability to learn and use new tools and programming languages;
• Has experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of a programming language used in data analysis, such as Python or R, is considered an asset.
