The Senior Integration Developer at Northland will be responsible for developing and maintaining system and application integrations. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure system integration aligns with business needs. The Senior Integration Developer will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, manage data flows, and ensure secure and proper system integration.

Senior Integration Developer Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, reliable system integration solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to meet integration requirements.
• Create and manage data flows between systems and applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Document technical processes and solutions.
• Monitor system performance and optimize as needed.
• Support integration-related tasks and projects.
• Lead and mentor engineering team members, sharing best practices.
• Drive integration strategy and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Work cross-functionally to align technical roadmaps.

Senior Integration Developer Requirements And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in system integration or data engineering.
• Extensive experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python and/or C#.
• Proficiency with integration and middleware technologies like SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and EDI.
• Knowledge of databases and ETL tools (e.g., SQL Server, dbt, Snowflake).
• Experience with cloud data resources such as Azure Data Factory and ADLS Gen2.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills in technical teams.
• Experience leading integration projects across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and POS systems data integration.
