About You

You’ve gained extensive experience as a software engineer focused on cloud infrastructure automation with a track record of building, operating, and maintaining products that customers love. You’ve seen enough to know what not to do and still maintain an unreasonable passion to automate everything else. You are open to learning, evaluating, and adopting new technologies.

Requirements

• Based in Vancouver, British Columbia (and be in the office 4 days a week).
• Solid grasp of networking concepts, security best practices, and system architecture design.
• Deep understanding of container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Expert-level experience with a Cloud Platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Demonstrated leadership in project delivery.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams.

Desirable Skills

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, GDPR, or ISO 27001.
