The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT security, hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and cloud security, plus strong communication and project management skills. Winnipeg-based role with opportunity for growth and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field or higher.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security solutions and cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing security controls and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security events across networks, endpoints, and cloud.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, tests, and risk analyses.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis, implement fixes.
• Maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security with goals.
