Purpose and Overview:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget, overseeing quality throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role coordinates cross‑functional teams, manages project risks, and ensures alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines technical understanding with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle — from initial requirements gathering and scoping to deployment and post‑implementation review.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. This includes supporting definition of project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams such as developers, QA, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders. This includes teams within IT as well as other business areas as required, effectively communicating project expectations and liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage project scope and change requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities and following company change management process.
  • Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership. Effective communication is key.
  • Estimate project resources needed to achieve project goals. Time tracking of project resources is also a requirement to monitor resource capacity and potential bottlenecks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Project artifacts are maintained in ServiceNow and in a project file in SharePoint.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Support vendor management, including supporting proposals evaluation and overseeing third‑party deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and organizational policies.
Required Professional Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct project management experience managing IT or software implementation projects.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is required.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Proven experience is required.
  • ERP experience required
  • Experience with Enterprise Applications & Systems integrations.
  • Experience in transformational projects where changes in processes had to be made, preferably including re‑engineering/quality or strategy function responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO, Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement methods with a track record of successful projects.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity.
  • Time flexibility may be required in order to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
