Job summary

Robertson & Company Ltd. is seeking an experienced Application IT - Project Control Officer V to support an existing vacancy in Toronto. This contract role spans 12 months with potential extension, hybrid work arrangement, and a starting pay rate of $58 per hour.

Responsibilities include ingestion and tracking of RAID items, consolidation of weekly and ad-hoc reports, cost forecasting, and artifact management, with strong emphasis on governance and delivery assurance across multiple streams.

Qualifications

• Post secondary degree required.
• 10+ years of Project Monitoring and Control activity experience including Schedule Management, Reporting, RAID Management and Financial Management.
• Large project/program delivery experience.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
• Methodology Knowledge: PDLC, Agile, Hybrid.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
• JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, SharePoint experience.
• Banking or financial institution experience.
• PMP certification.

• Ingestion of Risk/Action/Issue/Decision items and maintenance of RAID log coherency.
• Consolidation/preparation of weekly status reports, ESC materials, and ad-hoc requests.
• Track interdependencies across project workstreams and external programs.
• Consolidation of monthly cost forecasts and variance analysis.
• Maintain PCR list and action-related tasks.
• Organize/track/index required artifacts and log compliance/exemptions.
• Track and report on tasks, deliverables, milestones and escalate slippages.

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction

Robertson is seeking a skilled Application IT - Project Control Officer V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period:

12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate:

Starting form $58 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Ingestion of Risk/Action/Issue/Decision items, maintain coherency/currency of the RAID log
• Consolidation / Preparation of reporting materials (Weekly status report, ESC materials, ad-hoc requests)
• Consolidation/Tracking of interdependencies across project workstreams as well as outside or project
• Consolidation of monthly costs forecasts, tracking of actual spend and analysis of variances between forecast and actuals
• Maintain PCR list and action related tasks/activities
• Organize/track/index required artifacts and log exceptions/exemptions, assist during compliance / delivery assurance reviews
• Track and report on identified tasks/deliverables/milestones, highlight/escalate slippages for action/attention

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Post secondary degree required
• 10+ years of Project Monitoring and Control Activity experience (Schedule Management, Reporting, RAID Management, Financial Management In-depth
