Job summary

Baytex Energy Corp. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Systems Analyst to support and improve the company's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, Microsoft cloud services, and field OT/IT environments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, operations, and vendors to deliver secure, reliable technology services across the organization. The role covers data center ops, cloud migration, endpoint management, and enterprise networking, with a focus on security and reliability in a Calgary-based

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft cloud and on-premises environments (Azure, M365, Entra ID, AD, Conditional Access, Intune).
• Experience with virtualization, storage, backup, DR, remote access, endpoint management, and network infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure environments (servers, virtualization, storage, backup, DR).
• Support corporate and field network infrastructure and wireless networks.
• Manage backup, recovery, and resiliency solutions for DR and BC readiness.
• Configure NetApp ONTAP storage incl. snapshots and replication.
• Maintain data center infrastructure and contribute to cloud migration and modernization.
• Deploy endpoint configuration via Group Policy and Intune; support VDI and remote access.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions aligned with business needs.
