Job summary

Charter is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to lead and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure, security, and cloud services across a Canadian enterprise. You will oversee ITSM, vendor performance, and data protection while collaborating with stakeholders and external providers to ensure reliable, cost-effective technology services.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure with strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, AD, networking, and cybersecurity expertise,

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers and SLAs.
• Strong hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, AD, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks, SD-WAN and modern cloud-based infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and ITSM frameworks.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and end-user computing.
• Own and improve ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration).
• Manage third-party service providers ensuring SLA compliance and service performance.
• Lead cybersecurity activities including vulnerability management and incident response.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure environments.
• Maintain and enhance network, cloud, server, endpoint, and data storage infrastructure.
• Provide advanced technical support to users via remote and onsite assistance.
• Ensure data protection through access controls, backups, and disaster recovery.
