Job summary

Pelmorex is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator in the Greater Toronto Area to design, implement, and support our IT infrastructure. You will standardize, modernize, and automate infrastructure management and coordinate with technical leads and administrators.

The role requires 5+ years in a 24/7 IT environment, strong Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud skills across GCP/AWS/Azure, plus excellent problem solving and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or MIS.
• 5+ years in a 24/7 IT environment.
• 3+ years containerization and Kubernetes design/management on CloudStack/Proxmox and cloud platforms.
• Native with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, shell, Python).
• Strong cloud knowledge (GCP, AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Pelmorex infrastructure core systems (k8, VMs, clusters, CI/CD, cloud).
• Provide technical leadership for IT projects and ensure high availability.
• Document and hand over systems to IT Operations for support.
• Ensure security, monitoring, and compliance with SLAs.
• Keep up with emerging tech and propose innovative solutions.
